Stainless Steel Barrel Nipple Long, Extra Lengths for Your Secure Connections

Swiss Fittings delivers from stock, stainless steel barrel nipples in lengths of 400 mm (15.75 inches) to 1000 mm (39.37 inches), with BSP (ISO-7-1) threads. Directly from production, barrel nipples can also be offered in customs lengths, including 2000 mm (78.74 inches) with NPT thread. The extra length on the stainless steel barrel nipple provides several different advantages when compared to barrel nipples in galvanized carbon steel. The advantages include high corrosions resistance and according to the German Environmental Protection Agency (UBA), pose no risk to health when installed in a drinking water system. The extra length eliminates the need to extend the normal length barrel nipple by connecting with other fittings. Swiss Fittings also offers thread sealants such as hemp, Teflon tape and silicon sealing tape (Facot).

Our 316L (1.4404) stainless steel pipe fittings (according to DIN 1041:2000) have a wide range of applications and are used in agriculture, heavy industry, private gardens and households. The majority of stainless steel pipe fittings, including our sockets and welding nipples, are made from high graded welded pipe. Swiss Fittings can additionally offer pipe fittings from seamless pipe, directly from production. If the 1-meter barrel nipple is not long enough, it is possible for us to cut our pipes and thread these according to the necessary length.
